The Basics of Fly Fishing

Dates:
Three four-hour classes will be held on:

February 23rd, and March 1st, from 8:00
am to 12:00 noon

22nd, and March 29th, from 8:00

am to 12:00 noon
Cost:
$200. Due
upon registration in order to hold your position in the class.
These classes are limited to 6 individuals for the 12 hours of
instruction.
Equipment Required:
None! State-of-the-art equipment will be provided for students to
use throughout the course.
Clothing to Bring:
Sunglasses & a hat are highly recommended.
About the Instructor:
Mark Dominguez has been an instructor for the past 30 years. He is
a dedicated fly fisherman with more than 40 years of experience.
Course of Instruction:
You will spend 12 hours learning the basics of the extraordinary art of
fly fishing. Sessions will be divided into a mixture of
personalized casting instructions (Video taping by a professional
photographer will be conducted in order to show where improvement is required),
entomology, fly selection, trout habitat, the trout, tackle and
equipment selection, basic knots utilized, techniques and strategies you
will experience once you hit the stream, stream etiquette issues, safety
and conservation will also be discussed.
Casting instruction
will be conducted on water to enhance your learning experience.
Upon completion of this course, you will have a strong foundation to
begin and continue your adventures in fly fishing.
Private one-on-one
classes are also available.
